A Volume Phase Holographic (VPH) grism, combining a grating from Kaiser Optical Systems, Inc., with prism wedges from Janos Technology, Inc., assembled at NOAO by Al Camacho and Heidi Yarborough. This grism is used in the new Multi-Aperture Red Spectrometer (MARS, which is CryoCam resurrected). See the article in the NOAO September 2001 newsletter (PDF format only).
