A chilly winter's day on Kitt peak, as seen from the catwalk of the Mayall 4-meter telescope, looking out to the 2.1-meter and showing the old 0.9-meter telescope and testing tower to the far right. The last two facilities have been replaced by the 3.5-meter WIYN telescope. This picture was taken in 1976.
