Star trails trace circumpolar paths in this time exposure of the Kitt Peak National Observatory. Central to the picture is the Mayall 4-meter telescope with, in the foreground, the Steward Observatory's 90-inch and SpaceWatch telescopes. The lights of Tucson are visible in the distance.
