The National Solar Observatory's Vacuum Tower Telescope (now redesignated as the Richard B. Dunn Solar Telescope) at the Sacramento Peak Observatory produced this picture, showing solar granulation on a scale of about 100km. Image provided by T. Rimmele (see NOAO press release 98-08).
