Setting the Grating Order

Use the mouse to position the pointer on the order line and click SELECT. Type in the order number which you want to work. Use the "set grating" button to set the order. If the lambda/encoder line is blank, only the order will be set. Otherwise, the order and wavelength are set together.

Carriage return or tab will move the input (blinking yellow mark) among the three grating input items which are: grating order, grating wavelength or encoder value, and grating nudge value. The blinking yellow mark indicates which input item is currently selected.
