Where is MONSOON Now?

MONSOON is getting a lot of telescope time. Newfirm is on the 4M telescope over 50% of the time. WHIRC and the Bench Spectrograph are on the telescopes a combined total of more than 50% of the time. The CTIO 1.5M Eschelle Spectrograph Detector Controller Upgrade is due late 2009.

There is a new, improved, version of MONSOON (nicknamed Torrent) which is in the testing stage of the Power Supply and Local Control Board (LCB). For more information on Torrent, click here.
