KITT PEAK ARMCHAIR TOUR
The National Optical Astronomy observatories are operated for the National Science Foundation by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy.

Kitt Peak, located 56 miles southwest of Tucson on the Tohono O'odham reservation, is the home of research facilities for two divisions of the National Optical Astronomy Observatories (NOAO): Kitt Peak National Observatory and the National Solar Observatory. Regular visiting hours are between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., but this virtual tour is open to the public at all hours.
