Project ASTRO: Arizona teachers (grades 3-12) partner with astronomers for classroom visits, demonstrations, star parties, and exciting/hands-on astronomy/science activities.Bringing the Hands-On Optics Program to Arizona: informal science education program
Astronomy from the Ground Up: National NSF-funded professional development project for educators at small science and nature centers.
AstroBITS: Arizona teachers program in technology, using astronomy as a hook
GSMT Adaptive Optics Education Project: Developing activities to teach the concepts of adaptive optics to high school students

GLOBE at Night: citizen science program for anyone to monitor light pollution world wide
ASTRO-Chile: a collaboration of students in Tucson and La Serena, Chile on astronomy projects
International Year of Astronomy 2009: Galileoscope, Dark Skies Awareness
Kitt Peak Visitor Center: visit Kitt Peak, both daytime and evening
