During the reporting period, outside users from 5,069 different Internet sites accessed the main NSO/Tucson data archive and distribution area a total of 23,609 times. (Only 616 of these users can be identified by user name.) A total of 39,480 data files were transferred during these accesses. In addition, 5 distributions per observing day are made automatically to outside users, adding approximately 1,200 distributions per year for a total of over 40,000 data distributions annually to about 621 users. During this same time period, NSO web pages were accessed by outside users a total of 193,083 times. (These statistics are for NSO/Tucson only.)

NOAO Tucson Headquarters Building

During the 12-months ending 30 September 1999, a total of 1,969 visitors were received at the NOAO Tucson headquarters building.
