The National Solar Observatory (NSO) has one full-time position available for a Craftsperson II to assist in the maintenance and operation of the facilities at the Observatory.  Duties will include but not be limited to plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, snow removal and general renovation/maintenance.  Applicants should possess 4 years experience in 1 or more crafts including plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical and have demonstrated a proficiency of same.  Should be able to read blue prints and have a working knowledge and ability to use a variety of tools, material, methods and practices of trades.  Must be able to acquire state certification as a water/wastewater operator.
