Frequently Asked Questions
Flexible Spending Accounts

The Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are a way of making pre-tax payroll deductions for either dependent care or non-reimbursed health expenses.

Health Care Reimbursement Plan enables you to save taxes on health care expenses not covered by our group medical and dental insurance.

Dependent Care Assistance Program permits you to direct a portion of your pre-tax compensation to an account from which you are reimbursed for dependent day care expenses necessary for your employment.

Insurance Premium Payment Plan allows you to use tax-free dollars to pay premiums for our group medical and dental plans. All health and dental premiums paid by employees are pre-tax.

Mountain States Administrative Services (MSAS) is the 2007 FSA claims administrator. All 2007 plan year claims should be submitted directly to MSAS. Please review the Participant Guide for more information about the plan or download the claim form at HR forms.
