WIYN 0.9-m Observatory


			THE WIYN 0.9M A consortium led by the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Indiana University has assumed operational responsibility for the historic 0.9-meter (36-inch) telescope at the National Science Foundation's Kitt Peak National Observatory.

The 0.9-m telesscope is located on the southern ridge of Kitt Peak in the Quinlan Mountains, about 50 miles southwest of Tucson.
